Thank you Jackson Hole Fly Fishing School for what ended up being a highlight of our vacation out in Jackson Hole! We booked the floating school which not only introduced us to the sport of fly fishing in an accessible and fun way but also gave us the opportunity to float down the famous Snake River and take in the majestic scenery of the surrounding Tetons. Caleb, our guide, was a top-notch – personable, good sense of humor, knowledgeable and extremely patient! We’ll be back this summer!

Public Floating Fly Fishing School

No Regrets! Just Do It! ★★★★★

I surprised my husband and my 10-year-old son with a Public Floating Fly Fishing School this summer. The boys came back exhausted but so excited! Neither one had ever fly fished but they caught 6 fish! You must realize, for a couple of city kids, that is a BIG deal. No regrets! Just do it!

Fly Fishing Kids Camp

Great Camp for Kids! ★★★★★

JHFFS offers a great opportunity for kids to learn to fly fish through their camps. My son attended 3-day camps this summer and loved the experience with JHFFS. He learned a lot about fishing, fish, and rivers. The instructors are awesome and work hard to create a safe, fun, and interesting environment. I highly recommend JHFFS.

3 Day Trout School

Outstanding fly fishing guides and teachers in Jackson WY ★★★★★

I just left Jackson WY after a grand 3-day fishing adventure with a life long friend who has dreamed of fly fishing all his life. So I took him to Jackson for an introductory 3-day fishing adventure to kick start his education – he’s now HOOKED. Spence and his crew did a phenomenal job of easing my friend into fly fishing, teaching him how to wade and fish, float and fish, cast, mend, roll cast, as well as introduce him to the basics of fly entomology. Can’t say enough nice things about the team and their amazing ‘lab’.

Half Day – Drift Boat Fly Fishing

Awesome Fly Fishing Adventure! ★★★★★

My husband has always wanted to try fly fishing so I decided to join him on a half-day drift boat trip, not expecting to have the best time! We both had such a great experience, that we were hooked and immediately signed up for another trip later in the week. Jake was a great guide and had a plethora of knowledge about the sport itself and was a fun and positive personality to be around. We had Jake as our guide on both trips and highly recommend him to others wanting to try the sport! I would love to come back out to Jackson in the summer and try another excursion in the warmer weather.

Full Day – Drift Boat Fly Fishing

A++ Full Day Drift Boat School ★★★★★

My husband and I were total beginners and could not have had a better day on the river with our guide Tucker. We got familiar with the basics and had a ton of fishing time and caught seven fish between us. We also learned a lot about the local wildlife and had a wonderful time chatting. I can’t imagine a better introduction to fly fishing and can’t wait to come back.

My two boys and I had two incredible days of fishing. We choose the private walk/wade trips. Our guides, Brian and Grant, where as good as we’ve ever had. Super knowledgeable and friendly guys that made the whole experience effortless. Look forward to fishing with them again.

My family booked the public walk/wade school. The experience was incredible. The guides were knowledgeable, professional and most of all FUN. We all came away with a great appreciation for fly fishing and the local area. I would recommend JH Fly Fishing School for any skill level or age. Spencer and the team were super helpful prior to our trip. They let us know various options and helped tailor the experiences to make our trip the best it could possibly be.

My husband is a die hard fisherman so he took a guided trip, while he sent us with JHFFS to enjoy a Fly Fishing School and Scenic Float. Our guide not only introduced me to fly fishing in a fun and entertaining fashion but we also got to watch countless birds of prey and a family of river otters while surrounded by the most beautiful scenery imaginable!
